Dear ACE* members & friends, distinguished colleagues,
Like every year, the ACE is organizing a non-competitive “rally” for all passionate of nice mechanics.
The themes of this year is … “Drive & Pic-Nic”.
We’ll meet on 7 June 2014 at 10.00 in front of the fountain facing the “Palais des Colonies/Koloniënpalijs” (Paleizenlaan – 3080 Tervuren, see red circle in the attached map) for a breakfast offered by ACE and the briefing; then, we’re going to drive together for a couple of hours and we’ll join the place of our pic-nic (details provided at the briefing).
- Briefing: 10:30- 11h,
- Rally drive: 11-12 h,
- Visit of tourist attraction;
- Picnic start: 13:00 h
Please bring with you a cheerful face and a pic-nic basket with good food & drinks for you and, if you wish, also bring some more specialties you may want to share with the other participants.

We also seize the occasion to remind you that ACE is always looking forward like-minded people willing to devote some of their spare time in helping us organizing similar events or coordinate the participation of the ACE members to similar activities (Rallies, track days, visit to museum and exhibitions and so on). * ACE, the Automotive Club EUROCONTROL is the is incorporated under the AIPE – the International Association of EUROCONTROL Staff, which is legally recognised as an “Associations Internationales Sans But Lucratif” (AISBL) by the Kingdom of Belgium.
ACE is not limited to EUROCONTROL staff; on the contrary, we warmly welcome members from other similar organisations (e.g. European Institutions, NATO, EASA, etc) and from the general public.
ACE is open to all sorts of people – owners, historians and fans of modern sports cars, classic cars, motorbikes and other cool stuff.
ACE is recognised by the FBVA, the Belgian national authority representing the FIVA, the international federation of ancient vehicles.
Our aim is to have fun, organise events, drive and race or just talk together about our vehicles so to enjoy together our common passion in a safe, responsible and sustainable way, in line with the shared values of the international civil servants community.
